Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Bounissimo!! This place is an absolute gem in downtown west palm beach. Our server Massimo was fabulous and everything was delicious! The entire kitchen is straight from Italy and the food is authentic Italian. We can't speak highly enough of this place!

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The decor is fantastic and every last detail is perfect, down to the silverware. The atmosphere is trendy, intimate and romantic. The the food is delicious and the presentation is beautiful. The owners/servers are very charming and really made our experience perfect. Best tiramisu I have ever had. I very highly recommend this place.

First, I enjoyed a Huge clambake pasta... Saying that, I must admit that each serving or our dinner for two was excellent. If you've not been, the atmosphere is very posh, with European minimalism...very white, very clean, and very fancy. The service and presentation is very formal. From the light succulent dishes and deserts, to the vast wine list, Santucci is a preferred choice...for special occasions or a just nice night out on the town. The pricing is premium, but underpriced by dining quality. I highly recommend this restaurant and rate it at 3.5 stars.

Great service, great decor, great pasta. I normally don't go out to eat for pasta but when I do this is the place. My partner had a meat sauce pasta dish which I thoroughly enjoyed as leftovers. I got a yellow curry pasta with a lot of peas in it, somehow that works together. Everything about this place is upscale except for the portions. Portions are suburban style, left full after ordering only an entree. The thing that really makes this restaurant shine and will keep me coming back- this is the only clematis restaurant where you don't have to shout to talk to people at your table.

My favorite Italian Restaurant in the area . Beautiful decor and exquisite food. Tell them what you prefer and they will make it. Gets better each time we go!

Awesome! Special, beyond basic Italian. Nice to get real fresh pasta and a delicious bolognese with it. Everybody is so nice and the crowd is all happy. Who wouldn't be with such great food. I skipped the desserts but people were telling me how great they are. Next time!

At the west-end of Clematis, Ristorante Santucci is one of the most recent additions to the culinary panorama of WPB downtown. And it stands out from the crowd. Be aware though that it stands out from the crowd also when it comes to prices: a dinner here doesn't come cheap at all...matter of fact, expect Palm Beach prices, I mean the island, not the county. Santucci is owned by a family of Italians who have been successful in their gastronomic enterprises also on the eastern side of the Atlantic, specifically in Belgium (which now everybody knows because is the country that eliminated the USA from the recent World Cup...). Selena, one of the owner is a very nice young woman, who's on top of everything. The staff is also nice and servers well trained. The whole thing means the service is pretty good, attentive, courteous without being invading. The ambiance is different than most places here, all white furniture, an atmosphere that can feel peaceful and maybe at the same time a little monotonous. The bar is small, by the entrance, this is not a place to grab something at the bar. It's a place where you are meant to sit and feast on food. The food, mostly Italian, is pretty good, well prepared and presented. It is however pricey, no doubt about it. This place is frequented by many of the rich and famous (okay, rich, I don't know about famous) crowd of Palm Beach, for whom price is not an issue. Santucci is the kind of place you go for an occasion, a date, but might not be the restaurant you hit once a week, unless your American Express card is colored in gold. That said, it is obvious that the intent here was to offer something different, upscale in service and food, and the owners want their place to be on a different level than most of downtown restaurants, so prices are part of it, it didn't just happened. So, how's this food for the price? Well, you have to give credit to Santucci for bringing some more authentic Italian dishes to WPB downtown. This is "Italian", not "Italo-American". Which means, no Alfredo crappy sauce and not a bunch of veal/chicken Marsala or Piccata. So, yes, you will pay for it, but you will also eat Italian dishes that are tough to find around here. A few comments on some of their dishes. Tortellini In Brodo: although at $ 12.00 it's a bit of a splurge, I am just mentioning this as a note to American foodies. This is a broth-based soup that I haven't found anywhere else in WPB. It is to Italians what chicken soup is to Americans. Is your light soup, the soup you eat when you want to stay (or at least start) light. For those looking for new dishes, among the appetizers you could try the Scampi Al Liquore Di Sambuca. How's that for different? Shrimps, squid in a Sambuca glaze: tasty, original choice. Among the pasta dishes, Papardelle Ai Funghi E Tartufo and Agnolotti Al Prosciutto Di Parma are my suggestions. Both are very good, and for most people who don't travel much abroad, will offer a bit of a different taste, a new flavor that's worth discovering. I havent' tried the Tagliatelle al Pistacchio, might be for next time. Plenty of fish and beef offerings, haven't tried many other than a Branzino they had on special one night (delicate taste, well cooked, would have loved some fresh parsley on it) and the Filetto di Manzo al Barolo (yes!!). Wine list is pretty complete, a tad expensive, but in line with the type of restaurant Santucci wants to be. Overall: good food, authentic Italian dishes, not the usual Jersey stuff that many Americans think is Italian, very good service, nice and quiet environment. Prices on the high side, but that's a constant in this area, so in proportion to the offering, they are not outrageous. One of the best restaurants in West Palm Beach, that's for sure.

We recently visited this fine dining establishment with good friends. Wow! The restaurant is gorgeous! From the flat wear and stemware, to the ambiance to the attention to detail, this is place is great. The food is excellent. Best in the area! This is real Italian food in an elegant setting. The wines are divine. If in town, don't miss this place!

I have never once felt compelled to write a review about a dining experience! That has all changed tonight! My friend and I opted to eat outside-away from the stark white interior. We were welcomed by an all male staff straight from the pages of GQ. Their looks paled only to the gorgeous burrata we began with. The rest of the meal was a taste of...Narnia! I can't say enough good things!!

A very modern trendy atmosphere with its white interior along with an open kitchen where you can view the chefs. There is also outdoor dining that accommodates those who have left the cold of winter behind. We ordered the following for dinner; Involini Di Melazane Con Formaggio Di Capra - in short eggplant rolled with goat cheese and other goodies; Fettuccini Alle Vongole - a bowl of cherrystone clams in a great sauce which is their signature dish; Branzino A L'Aqua Pazza - steamed Branzino whole fish; Tagliatelle Al Ragu - Pasta in a meat sauce. All dishes were very good and not very pricey. Also, their homemade bread is excellent. The only negative we had was that some of our dinner and appetizers selections were small in portion and their wine pours were weak.

Excellent. Beautiful decor. Even the glasses and silverware are fashionable. Every dish was beautifully presented from the olive oil, balsamic plate sprinkled with rosemary to the apps, salads and main plates. Went to La Sirena three nights before and this ranks up there with it, but a lot more modern flair. Every dish we had .. Six of us, was superb. The veal was wonderful, Topped off with lemon and red orange combo sorbet- terrific. Finally. Nice wine selection fairly priced .

I have never taken the time to write a review of a restaurant but I felt this new restaurant deserved one. I only had lunch but was instantly impressed by the freshness and high quality of the food not to mention the beautiful decor. I hope they have the success they deserve. I can't wait to go back!

Superb restaurant in palm beach area. I felt like I was dining in a fine restaurant in Milan ...with the upscale white italian decor. Even the bread and oil is a notch above the best!! Every dish we had was excellent and authentic. A little off the beaten path. Try it. Great owners.

So I called to make a reservation for 730. unfortunately me and the rest of my party arrived and weren't able to be seated right away due to other people showing up late for their reservation. So the hostess kindly offered us glasses of champagne while we waited. She offered us a few glasses of champagne due to the fact that we had to wait over an hour on a Saturday night. So we figured we stick it out and wait to be seated because calling other restaurants on a Saturday night to get a reservation for five people was nearly impossible. So we finally get seated we order our drinks we order our food everything came out very good I had the pasta with Bolognese sauce and for appetizer I had an interesting shrimp and a strawberry berry sauce. The food is outstanding the ambience is great. I would have given this place five stars but due to the fact that me and my guest had to wait for over an hour for a table I am only giving four stars. I appreciate the hostess being kind and giving us drinks on the house though. I will be back on my next vacation just hope that me and my guest won't have to wait so long especially with a confirmed reservation.

Fantastic!!! As resident of Down Town WPB for the last 16 years, this's the kind of Place was missing. If you're into Fine, sophisticated, five star Dining, don't miss this place. The immaculate white Decor, the quality and presentation of the food along with the exclusive China and Silver, makes this place very Unique. Well done!

Owners nice, but that's where it stops. Terrible pasta they should learn the meaning of al dente. The pastas, for the most part, are strangely flavored and have too many ingredients in them, that don't go together. One of them was so sweet (and inedible) that it tasted like some strange, mushy form of dessert. Salads boring and uneventful. Atmosphere sterile, with no personality.

Not sure which was better, Their service or the incredible food, had a party of 4 and we all ordered different meals; and all were incredible. They make the pasta in house and it shows, the seafood was fresh and their steak was cooked to perfection, before I could take three drinks of water they had refilled my glass

Restaurant is elegant and the food was excellent. Homemade bread and pasta. I had the special linguine with clams, mussels, squid and shrimp. Sauce was delicious!!! I would go back. The owners were super nice.

Great looking decor- all white, sets it's self apart from anything in west palm beach- also at the base of 610 clematis - I believe the first restaurant located below any condo building in the downtown west palm beach area; a few table outside, decent music, valet parking; food is excellent northern Italian cuisine- tried there food 3 times and haven't been disappointed yet. Great homemade bread, exquisite pistachio pasta , nice wine list. Worth it.

Loved the decor, the welcoming feeling from the host. They're homemade pasta was DELICIOUS! We also ordered a veal dish that was under the specialties (I don't remember the name) and it wasn't exactly what we thought it was going to be. Definitely order a pasta dish while here though! I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because while our waiter was attentive we didn't appreciate his "I'm-doing-you-a-favor-by-being-here" attitude.

Fantastic Italian restaurant that just opened. We enjoyed their pasta sample for 2, free champagne, and fabulous customer service by the family. Not only was the food artfully displayed but had flavor to match. The ambience with the outdoor seating next to the water feature is romantic. The staff was extremely eager to serve with pride and make it the best dining experience possible. Would highly recommend!

Sorry folks, I really wanted to like this place after all of our foodie friends extoled their experiences, but I cannot. The service end of this restaurant is not up to the upscale atmosphere they are trying to convey, even though the food itself is good. We're Palm Beach residents and the island has numerous fabulous restaurants now, so leaving the island for good food is no longer a necessity. We heard about this place from everyone so we decided to try it. TWICE. The first experience proved noteworthy, not five star, but good. This past week, we had a three hour dinner due to poor service, improperly trained staff, and just in general, a slow kitchen. It seems like Santucci's came out of the gate strong, ran a great race, and then quickly lost steam. A lot of restaurants have that start, but they continue their stride and then do well. Unless they get their service in line, with timing, with server knowledge, and with more attention paid to each table, this is going to be a "one hit wonder," kind of like an aging hollywood starlet. All of our friends are now comparing notes with the service, and we are all in agreement that we are not going back. Sorry Ristorante Santucci, I REALLY wanted to give you five stars: I just can't.

First this restaurant is located in a condo , 610 Clematis, so it may be a little out of the way but if you know to look for the huge circular water feature just outside it won't be a problem. The restaurant itself is intimate with tables both inside and alfresco. It is also white, very white! There is a small bar and the kitchen is exposed with a glass barrier so you can see the activity going on. The wife and I were seated at a table inside. The restaurant was about half full so we had no problem getting in without a reservation even though it was a Sunday night on a holiday weekend. The table was set with attractive stemware and flatware and the waiters were smartly attired in white shirts and grey slacks. Our waitress was very personable and we were welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco. A nice touch. We ordered a bottle of Pellgrino and a bottle of white wine ($45) and perused the menu. The menu was very extensive and a little on the pricey side but the diners we observed seemed to be enjoying themselves and the presentation looked outstanding. We ordered the grilled shrimp salad ($14) the linguini with clams ($23) and a side of sautéed broccoli ($7). While we waited another waiter came by with a complimentary fried mozzarella ball another nice touch. Our food arrived and we enjoyed everything. The service was attentive without being annoying and the owners daughter made the rounds checking in with each table for some smalltalk, another nice touch making us feel more connected to the whole dining experience. We opted out of dessert and coffee and got the bill. The only "ouch" was nine bucks for a bottle of Pellegrino but the freebies took the sting out of that. Overall we highly recommend this restaurant and wish it every success and we plan on returning often!

Simply beautiful restaurant and an even classier family who own and operate this establishment. It is a must for all to try who live in the area.
